Completion of Primary School is required. 
Completion of vocational training or apprenticeship recognized as producing journeyman welder skill is required
Minimum of two (2) years journeyman mechanic welder and sheet metal work experience is required.
Level II (limited knowledge) Speaking/Writing/Reading in English is required.
Language proficiency will be tested.
Ability to use safety equipment while performing assigned job both in the workshop and at job site is required.
A valid Nigerian driver's license is required.

Responsabilities

The incumbent is assigned to the Facility Maintenance Section, Lagos. Performs full journeyman mechanic level work in welding which will include arc and gas welding. Receives instruction or work order concerning specific tasks or assignments and proceeds to accomplish the necessary maintenance, repair or installation of piping structures and equipment. May drive a light truck to transport tools, equipment and materials to and from the work site. You can submit to HRNigeria@state.gov
