To leverage resources, skills, knowledge and experience of public and private partner organizations at the national and local levels in support of the implementation of the National Office objectives.

Requirements

EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE

Business degree in Marketing, Public Relations, International relations or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in the private sector or similar environment as a Marketing person, in Business Development or Sales, and Public Relations or a related field.
Creative thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize multiple different interests and develop new solutions.
Proven ability to initiate and manage productive PPP relationships.
A track record brokering NGO to company collaborations.
Existing business and commercial networks within Zambia strongly preferred.
Strong project and information management skills with the ability to coordinate across various teams.
Strong verbal and written communication, facilitation, networking and negotiation skills as well as fluency in English.
Ability to build transparent, strong relationships based on trust and mutual benefit.
Excellent reporting abilities.
Christian commitment and maturity or respect for Christian ethos in the workplace is a must.

Responsabilities

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES -Contribute to the development of the Grants Acquisition Management (GAM) business plan (competitor/donor landscape and possible partner mapping for corporates. -Analyze the variety of local, private sector actors’ interests and capabilities for supporting WVZ Strategic Objectives. (Donor Landscape) -Work with the communications department and contribute aligned ideas for branding for the organization in order to gain sufficient and well placed visibility and prepositioning. -Conduct resource mapping and develop strong and effective working relationships with Public and Private Partner (PPP) organizations. This includes development of MOUs with organizations work plans, performance indicators, review schedules and decision protocols. Partnerships should be mutually beneficial and designed to exceed the life of the grant. -Monitor and evaluate progress and impact of the PPP relationships/projects and their contribution to the NO objectives. -Deliver presentations on PPP engagement and project progress to internal and external stakeholders, Government and donors. -Facilitate regular update to the PPP partners on branded events to build partner confidence and visibility. -Ensure timely, effective and efficient project implementation of the corporate projects. -Support GAM department in the acquisition of other projects as need arises. -Deliver Capacity building skills with NO and ADPs for local branding and engagement
