Supply Chain/Logistics Manager




  • HND/B.Sc in Business Administration, Transportation/Logistics Movement, Warehouse Management or a related field
  • Must possess relevant professional qualifications/affiliations.
  • Experienced in Supply chain Management IS A Must
  • Experience: At least 4-7 years management experience in Supply Chain, Logistics and Warehousing.


To manage the re-order levels and processing orders. To direct, manage and coordinate logistics, warehouse transportation and customer service activities. Ensure proper management of goods in the warehouse. Monitor product import or export processes to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements. Ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery. Direct distribution center operation to ensure achievement of cost, productivity, accuracy, or timeliness objectives. Negotiate with suppliers or customers to improve supply chain efficiency or sustainability. Plan or implement improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes. Direct inbound or outbound logistics operations, such as transportation or warehouse activities, safety performance, or logistics quality management. Analyze all aspects of corporate logistics to determine the most cost-effective or efficient means of transporting products or supplies. Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues. Evaluate and manage warehouse resources and activities in relation to company objectives and set targets. Plan the layout and set up of the warehouse for the appropriate storage of goods and supplies. Maintain housekeeping of warehouse and surrounding area. Manage customer service activities including order entry, customer satisfaction, interface with sales, production and quality. Motivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met. Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols Maintain reports, process documentation and customer service logs. Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates Knowledge, Skills and Competency Knowledge of warehousing processes and procedures Knowledge in Supply Chain and Logistic operations Excellent leadership skills Ability to present information to groups at all levels within the business Experienced in performance management Excellent communication IT Skill Problem-solving skills Positive attitude to change Excellent analytical and organizational skills Ability to think independently and handle multiple projects Demonstrated ability to lead and manage staff Demonstrated independent work initiative and sound judgment
