Description

Position: Production and Operations Officer – 01

Duty Station: Lusaka
Job Type: Contract 3 years renewable
Remuneration: Starting ZMW 2,800.00 monthly up to ZMW 5,400.00 and a standard health scheme.

Under the direction of the general manager, the incumbent will be required to perform the following duties.

Requirements

1. Full Grade Twelve (12) Certificate (Very Essential Prerequisite);
2. Certification in Production and Operations Management / Catering / Food Production / Food Hygiene / Public Health or equivalent (Desirable but not essential);
3. Experience in any social and business environment either through school clubs or organizations within the community;
4. Good innovative skills and initiative;

Responsabilities

1. Production: Undertake timely scheduling of production; 2. Quality Assurance: make sure the products meet the stipulated standards of food safety as provided by law; 3. External Relationships: work with private and government health department to ensure the working environment meets the required standard; 4. Products Testing: ensure products are tested before being dispatched for retail stores; 5. Supervision: direct supervising part time packaging staff; 6. Any other responsibility as may be assigned.
