SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Business Analyst is responsible and accountable for the following Core job elements:
  • Ensure capture of shopper and trade sales data through ITT, scan data and other sources as may be prescribed.
  • Working with FOM, CD team members originate and map distributor data to
  • required standards (right format | complete data | accurate data | weekly loading) for automated loading onto ITT
  • Working with FOM, CD team members train all relevant CP, Distributor and other people on ITT data capture, processing and report highlights to ensure standards are sustained and improved.
  • Working with ITT Data Integrity Manager, trouble shoot process issues. If related to data (not system) work to resolve wherever they occur.
  • Responsible to ensure all standard user reports on SAP BI, Qlikview and various dashboards are working in order and the data contained is complete, accurate and fresh (weekly), users are trained appropriately and to resolve issues arising.
  • To originate a weekly exception report on key seasonal or cycle business and operating priorities including a brief commentary for the Cluster General Manager to be available each Monday by noon.
  • To develop analytical reports for regular meetings including CBP, Demand Planning, MYR, BR, other reviews and where possible automate them for convenience and easy access.
  • To manage the distributor and key large format store performance scorecard
  • process ensuring targets against each objective equal to or surpass cluster stretch targets, to update quarterly performance and where pay for performance is applicable to certify performance s objectives
  • Support all cost optimization efforts in the customer development function.

Requirements

  • An Undergraduate degree from a recognized and accredited University. He or she will have been a sales representative in a FMCG multinational for at least three years, of which one will have been assisting the management of a national key account in the direct channel. Must demonstrate a understanding of 5P strategies and execution. He / she must hold qualification in computer database management, market research, strong analytical skills and or experience in lieu.
  • The right candidate should be capable of being considered for appointment as Customer Development Manager within three years of appointment

Responsabilities

Managing the origination, capture, analysis and translation of trade and shopper data and reports using ITT. Identifying gaps and opportunities, highlighting exceptions and translating them into proposals for Customer Development Manager (CDM), Demand Planning, CBP, others. Support CD team on trade (Distributor and Large Format Stores) performance reviews, growth program, promotion evaluations and operating or service level analysis. Support development of cluster business strategy and tactics through analytical based business findings and projections; advise as necessary and present it formally as may be directed. Support the Field Operations Manager and Customer Development Executive / Manager with analytics to execute strategy and tactics as necessary or directed. Work with distributors, CD vendors and agents to ensure optimum execution analysis in the trade; measuring performance and keeping score and advising on methods to enhance performance. Provide implementation support for ITT at Distributor premises, and train users on reports including access, correct interpretation of various KPIs and reports etc
