GNO Portforlio Manager –Grants Finance & Compliance

Description

The GNO Portfolio Manager reports to the Business Development Manager and supports Plan Zambia in project management and strengthening the collaboration with Plan Germany National Office (GNO) in order to facilitate and support successful project management of the GNO grants portfolio in Zambia. The GM is responsible for providing oversight to all GNO funded grants in Plan Zambia and will work closely with the program and finance teams both in the PU and CO to ensure the timely execution of Program activities.

Requirements

Degree in Finance/Resource Management/Business/Development Studies or related discipline.
Master’s Degree or higher will be an added advantage
3 -5 years working experience in the above fields of which
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in financial management, grants analysis
Experience in reporting and presenting to the senior management
Solid understanding of compliance requirements of bilaterial, multilateral and Foundations preferred
Leading and managing financial audits and knowledge of internal financial controls and procedures

Responsabilities

Coordinating the planning, budgeting, implementation, reporting on and monitoring of the GNO Grants Portfolio Zambia with project partners and stakeholders To capture and share the learning of the project and manage quality assurance in close collaborations with the partners at CO and GNO Coordinating the partnership and relationships as well as communications between the project partners and ensure quality partnership. Timely and reliable grants financial analysis that leads to effective decision making Providing oversight and analysis of the financial health of GNO funded projects Ensure grant compliance to donor requirements Contribute to proposal development focusing on budgeting for quality implementation and maximum cost recovery Provision of accurate financial and narrative reports on GNO funded projects.
