Responsabilities
Assemble ,Install, maintain and repair Industrial electronic, electrical, telecom and IT equipment, such as variable speed drives, UPS, Inverters ,process and analytical instruments, protective relays,welding machines, PC’S, servers, overhead crane and hoist equipment as well as business equipment such as photocopiers and fax machines under minimal supervision.
Inspect , test ,evaluate ,Adjust, align, replace or repai r electrical ,electronic equipment, assemblies and components by following equipment manuals and schematics (as needed) by using standard work procedures, multimeters, circuit testers, oscilloscopes, logic probes , soldering tools , other hand and power tools and other electronic test instruments, tools and equipment.
Observes the functioning of installed equipment to detect, Identify and record problems, hazards relating to the equipment, process and or quality system and the need for service, repair and/or replacement of electrical components assemblies and sub systems.
Participates in new installations and modifications to existing equipment to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, and avoid unsightly, hazardous and unreliable performance of equipment.
Provides battery service for various equipment and maintains battery shop equipment and accessories ensuring that all plant equipment batteries are properly charged in a timely manner.
