Not many people know the dangers of "willful blindness". Next I am going to tell you all about it and you will understand how you can help others by sharing this information. 

What is "willful blindness"?

Nowadays there is a lot of willful blindness everywhere in the world. As a definition I chose Margaret Heffernan words: " Willful blindness is a legal concept which means, if there's information that you could know and you should know but you somehow manage not to know, the law deems that you're willfully blind. You have chosen not to know." For a better understanding you can also see the video below. 

The main example from the video is about a woman who realized people in her community were getting sick because of the substance which came from the mines nearby. Not only it affected workers from the mines, but also children and many others, because it was used for soil conditioners or as a construction component for the playgrounds and houses. 

The woman had to fight a lot of people who didn't believe her, but because she strove so hard she eventually succeeded.

What can we learn from this story?

Never give up! If you know something for sure, know that you have to be strong to succeed. Here’s another point for view for the willful blindness: someone sees a potential, an opportunity that could be useful for others too, but keeps it for herself/himself. Everyone needs a chance for a better future, so you should share it.
