Requirements

3-5 years experience in a similar role.
Degree in Social work/Development studies or relevant field.
Possession of Digital Skills/Digital learning teaching skills will be an added advantage
Communicates effectively and exhibits initiative and innovation
Excellent time management, planning, administrative and organisational skills
Experience in an NGO environment an added advantage 

Responsabilities

Conducting a market scan to identify interested private sector organisations to become part of the programme, either as employer, in kind supporters or possibly financial support or investors for youth empowerment. Working in close collaboration with the Economic Empowerment Country Programme Manager and other regional office specialists in conducting the assessment of digital skills available and private sector demand for these skills. Supporting the design of digital learning platform. This is building on the work within Plan International where a Learning Management System (using Moodle) has been developed. Mapping possible constraints (for example connectivity, hardware, etc.) and mapping what needs exist for e-learning among Plan International’s partners/stakeholders/beneficiaries. Working with Plan ICT4V specialists in other regions, the Project Manager will lead the process of needs assessment from Plan’s training partners to use blended learning (i.e. include e-learning) in their trainings. Identification of structures, and governance models etc. that are needed for the project. Based on the market scan, landscape mapping of digital jobs, and technology-enabled businesses and other assessments, the Project Manager will fully inform and validate the project design before implementation in 2016 and will further develop a comprehensive implementation plan for the project for phase II.
