Save the Children, Cote d’Ivoire Program is seeking a M&E Directorfor the REVE PROJECT financed by PEPFAR USAID, for (01) Year with possible extension, based in Abidjan.
Master’s in Research methods, Public Health, biostatistics or related field
Minimum of five years of relevant work experience in the international health sector, with specific technical expertise in public health required
At least three years’ experience in applied research and/or project monitoring and evaluation for USAID-funded projects in developing countries
Strong experience in research and monitoring and evaluation of one or more of the following areas: HIV/AIDS, health services and/or economic strengthening programs
Demonstrated knowledge of and familiarity with USAID policies and procedures
Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills
Able to produce thorough, high quality results within a tight timeframe and meet deadlines and deliverables to partners and donors
Demonstrated ability to work with multiple partners on collaborative projects
Proficiency in English with excellent oral and written communications skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to lead and work effectively in team situations
The ability to travel extensively to locations within/outside Cote d’Ivoire as required
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken essential.
Ability and willingness to change work practices and hours, and work with incoming teams in the event of major emergencies.
