Requirements

To be considered for this position, you need to have;

• College Diploma in Computer Science,preferably in System Engineering;
• Two years relevant experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and software;
• In depth technical knowledge of PC hardware;
• Knowledge in database programming such as MSQL is a plus;
• Self – learning attitude
• Hands-on and proactive
• Honesty and integrity
• Good understanding of laws and regulations applicable to a financial institution;
• Fair interpersonal skills in a cross-cultural environment;

Responsabilities

The IT System Office will among other things be: • Develop a deep understanding of every EFC Zambia systems • Understanding EfC needs for new systems implementation • Define and design the systems for new branches • Maintain and update systems in Head Office and all branches • Monitor and maintain EFC security hardware and propose specific solutions if necessary • Be proactive to submit a maintenance schedule and propose budget • Follow and supervise major works (when performed)to achieve the international standard(ex:electrical standard) • Be the handyman for small works (fixing systems,drilling wall for frames installation etc) • Perform and maintain the inventory of all EFC systems
