Details of Duties;
• Installation of survey pegs and marks in Development Tunnels and in Stopping Sections.
• Perform stoppage scans and compile scan information into sections and volumes
• Survey of Stope Drill Holes and Plotting of such information to be handed to Planning Department.
• Issue of all relevant survey Information to Mining Department
Required Qualifications:
• Diploma in Survey Studies
• Any survey qualification will be an added advantage
Experience:
• At Least 5 years of underground survey experience
• Operating Microstation V8i 3D
• Having experience of working with Laser Scanning equipment
Note: More stopes are blasted because of the build-up in the required stopping tons and therefore it requires more stop rings and more stope scans to be done. Also drill holes need to be surveyed due to problems with stope ring drilling.
