Responsabilities
Creating and developing content for the website, blog and other social platforms, and making sure they portray the companyâs ideals (trendy fashion store) on a daily basis.
Developing a relationship with customers through multiple social medium
Assisting in the pricing of products through the research of other merchandise that are comparable with what you have available in store
Developing, delivering and communicating visual concepts and strategies through initiatives to promote our stock and products online for the website so as to continually engage the customers  Â
Developing merchandise and lifestyle content through fashion writing and the use of photos
Conducting of research and writing on current and future trends in design, fashion, lifestyle, & Â associated target market features
Ensuring  that nothing is out of place and all content on the website is accurate and up to date on a daily basis.  Â
Makes sure that the website is attractive, detailed, and things displayed online is actually available in store for customers to purchase
Monitors stock levels, and how the images of the stock we have appear on the website on a daily basis
Will closely work with the buying team to make sure that whatever is purchased is in line with the current trend.
Will also work closely with the IT team as well as the graphics team.
Also responsible for maintaining the visual appearance of the online merchandise.
Apart from researching trends in fashion, you are expected to forecast fashion trends, so as to keep the customers abreast with the latest fashion trends
Also responsible for the creative content, outlays, displays of the online site and assisting with the web store layout and developing a style guide, content and freelance guidelines
Will work with a creative director to develop ad-hoc commercial offerings for the site
Creating an editorial schedule, and commissioning new and innovative content including copy and photos
Planning product ranges and preparing sales and stock plans in conjunction with buyers
Liaising with buyers, analysts, stores, suppliers and distributors;
Maintaining a comprehensive library of appropriate data;
Forecasting profits and sales, and optimizing the sales volume and profitability of designated product areas;
Planning budgets and presenting sales forecasts and figures for new ranges;
Controlling stock levels based on forecasts for the season;
Using specialist computer software to handle sales statistics, produce sales projections and present spreadsheets and graphs
Analyzing every aspect of bestsellers (for example, the bestselling price points, colors or styles) and ensuring that bestsellers reach their full potential;
Maintaining awareness of competitors' performance
Monitoring slow sellers and taking action to reduce prices or set promotions as necessary
Gathering information on customers' reactions to products;
Analyzing previous season's sales and reporting on the current season's lines
Making financial presentations to senior managers
Meeting with suppliers and managing the distribution of stock, by negotiating cost prices, ordering stock, agreeing timescales and delivery dates, and completing the necessary paperwork;
Managing, training and supervising junior staff
Also responsible for uploading the products, arranging photo-shoots, making sure product pricing and descriptions are correct, stock management, essentially a series of creative and technical responsibilities
