Administrative Officer

Description

Office administrators undertake a range of functions to make sure the administration activities within an organisation run smoothly. They may be responsible for the management of human resources, budgets, accommodation and property facilities and records. These functions can be performed at various levels ranging from junior through to upper management.

Requirements

Reporting to the Head of Human Resources and Administration
Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration or Business Administration
Full Grade 12 / Form V School Certificate
Must be a member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM) at an Associate Level with a current practicing certificate
Minimum of 4 years working experience in a similar field
Able to write comprehensive reports
Ability to work under pressure
Able to handle sensitive and confidential information
Excellent English language oral and written communication skills
Computer literate, innovative and reliable

Responsabilities

Ensures effectively maintenance of buildings and surroundings in order to enhance conducive working environment Ensures timely provision of office space and accommodation to officers in order to accommodate everyone Ensures timely availability and maintenance of office equipment in order to enhance effective and efficient operations of the departments Supervises effectively availability and maintenance of transport services in order to enhance mobility of officers and equipment Ensures effectively provision of adequate security on the premises to safe guard lives and property; and Ensures timely arrangements of local and international travel of officers
